The new MacBook Air has been released with some new minor updates that everyone has been talking about. This new MacBook Air comes preinstalled with Mac OS X Lion so you don’t need to worry about the OS. Also there are some new hardware updates.
Everybody saw the need of a backlight keyboard in the new MacBook Air which is now included in the new model which was actually important so that you could actually see the keyboard clearly in low lighting conditions.

Now both the 11 and 13 inch MacBook Airs star the second generation Intel Core processor, i5 and i7 clocked upto 1.8GHz and includes some faster memory. MacBook Air now has the Intel HD Graphics 3000 processor for graphics including an on-chip engine for video encoding and decoding imageresulting in smoother video calling and video playback.

The main reason MacBook Airs are awesome because they have flash storage which is simply awesome because it results in fast sleep, wake up and boot-up and makes the Mac OS  a lot smoother and makes the battery to long a lot longer because flash storage has no moving parts.
The MacBook Air now also features a thunderbolt/display port which supports Thunderbolt displays and external hard drives which support thunderbolt input.

Sadly there is no upgrade to the FaceTime camera of the MacBook Air and it remains with a SD FaceTime camera.
