Steve Jobs 1955-2011. Steve Jobs has died.

Yes, its true, Steve Jobs has died. This is the news that was very saddening and horrifying to me. On October 5th, 2011 Jobs’ family revealed that he “died peacefully today”.

The same day Apple also released a statement confirming that Steve Jobs has died which read:
“We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today. Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve. His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.”
Apple also showed on their website Steve’s photography, his name along with his lifespan. Clicking on this showed a page which read:
“Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.”
Apple has also given a public email id on their website for people to share their thoughts, memories, and condolences:

For me Steve Jobs was and has remained to be my inspiration. I always used to and I still think that one day I’d be Steve Jobs, the legendary man behind Apple.
When I first came to know about this news I just couldn’t believe what I was reading. I think that Steve was very clever, his resignation as a CEO of Apple and becoming chairman prevented a chaos or a crisis of who would become the next CEO.
To me the recently released iPhone 4S is like iPhone 4Steve. The cause of Steve’s death was mainly because of his pancreatic cancer. Steve previously has had a liver transplant two years ago but in the first half of 2011 he had taken a medical leave too.

I am very shocked and sad and each Apple fan must be having the same feeling as me. It’s hard for me to imagine that first Steve had started the company Apple in his parent’s garage! He is the person behind the iMac, the iPod, the iPhone, the iPad and much more! Steve was indeed a genius! Though I have never met Steve, still I love his works and I feel very bad that I wouldn’t be able to continue to see his works.
Now the CEO of Apple is Tim Cook. Steve was the man behind Apple and I hope that Tim continues the tradition and take Apple even further.
Though Steve is now dead, but his name has been printed in history as a legendary man, the genius behind Apple! I will never forget Steve! May Steve R.I.P.
