Philips SHP2500 Headphones Unboxing & Review

If you are a gamer then one of the most important requirement for gaming is good-quality sound especially in FPS games like Counter Strike, Call of Duty and others. Most gamers in the world have solved their quest for good-quality sound by buying a good pair of headphones.

Also, if you have a laptop, then you must have noticed that the built-in speakers are not that powerful and good like a good pair of headphones.

Being a laptop owner, I recently bought the Philips SHP2500 headphones for my laptop for gaming, listening to music and YouTube video, and of-course for video-editing.

I made my decision to buy a new pair of headphones since I started playing Counter Strike on my laptop. I found that using my in-built computer speakers in the laptop, I wasn't able to hear the footsteps clearly and I thought I'd get a pair of headphones to improve my game-play.

The Philips SHP2500 is a nice headphone which has large cushioned cup speakers which are really comfortable and you can play game for long without getting irritated by the headphones.

These headphones also include an in-built volume controller on the wire. The headphones have an increased amount of base which is enhanced by the big cushioning pads on the ears.

One thing that is quite nice about these headphones is that it has an extra-long 6m wire using which you can go really far away from your audio equipment. This long wire is present since these headphones are made for using with a television.

The headphones also include an adapter which converts the 3.5mm audio jack to a 6.3mm audio jack.

These headphones also include a 1 year warranty.

Overall, I'd say that the Philips SHP2500 headphones is a must check out music equipment which is good at comfort, base and has a long wire using which you can use these headphones with a television set and the build quality of the headphones is pretty nice.

The Philips SHP2500 sell at a MSRP of Rs. 849.
